Below we list the awards available in great detail for each race distance. Our first award shown below is given to everyone who finishes the race. It is meant to be a reminder of your accomplishment. Not just anyone can go out there and ride these types of miles and we think you should be recognized for that accomplishment.
In the interest of fairness to all of our competitors, no motor assisted bikes are eligible to be included in the awards for this race. In order to be considered for any award, you must finish the race before the cutoff time. The cutoff time for the Sprint races is 12:40pm. The cutoff time for the 10 Mile Donut Race is 11am. The cutoff time for the 22, 42, and 62 Mile Donut Divisions is 2pm. You must also be present for the awards presentation to receive your awards. We will not send awards to you after the race.
Male and Females will be awarded separately in the following categories.
DONUT (Donut Adjusted Times)
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each Age Division receive STANDARD Size Custom Award Medals
- Age Division Awards for 0-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 plus
- All bike types except electric and tandem are welcome to participate in the donut division awards
Male and Females will be awarded separately in the following categories.
DONUT (Donut Adjusted Times)
- 1st place winners are presented with a Yellow Jersey and a Free Entry for next years race
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall receive LARGE Custom Award Medals. They are not eligible for age division awards
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each Age Division receive STANDARD Size Custom Award Medals
- Age Division Awards for 0-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 plus
- All bike types except electric and tandem are welcome to participate in the donut division awards
SPRINT (Fastest times without eating any donuts)
- 1st place winners are presented with a Green Jersey and a Free Entry for next years race
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall receive LARGE Custom Award Medals. They are not eligible for age division awards
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each Age Division receive STANDARD Size Custom Award Medals
- Age Division Awards for 0-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 plus
- All bike types except electric and tandem are welcome to participate in the sprint division awards
KING/QUEEN OF THE DONUT
- The male and female who eat the most donuts regardless of their finishing time will win one of these polka dot donut jerseys. The winners still need to finish before the 2pm cutoff time to be eligible. Ties will be broken by the fastest finish time.
Male and Females will be awarded separately in the following categories.

KING/QUEEN OF THE DONUT

TANDEM
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall receive STANDARD SIZE Custom Award Medals. Tandem is a standalone division and will not be included in other categories of results. Tandems will be part of the DONUT division where donuts can be eaten, and NOT part of the SPRINT division. Donut totals will count towards the winner of the tandem division, but tandem riders are not eligible for King/Queen of the Donut Awards.
TEAM COMPETITION
- The team with the lowest overall adjusted finishing time wins this division. The team competition is only available in our 42-mile race distance. Teams are limited to 5 riders max. The top 4 riders on your team will be scored. (Scoring the top 4 and not all 5 on your team does not punish the entire team if one person has a flat tire or mechanical problem with their bike.) Teams can include males and females, but Coed teams are not required. Teams will compete in the Donut Division ONLY. The first place/champion team will be awarded with five of our champions’ White jerseys and five STANDARD SIZE Custom Award Medals. 2nd and 3rd place teams are awarded five STANDARD SIZE Custom Award Medals. Team racers are also eligible for overall and age division awards.

Donut and Sprint Division male and female race winners will claim a jersey, one of our hand made custom medals and a free entry to the following year’s Dirty Donut.
Donut and Sprint Division male and female top 3 race winners will claim one of our custom hand made and painted winners medals.
Donut and Sprint Division male and female top 3 finishers all 3 race distances, in each age division will claim one of our custom hand made winners medals for every race distance. Fat Tire Co-ed’s will vie for these awards as well in the 42 and 62 mile Donut and Sprint Divisions. Tandem’s will vie for these awards as well in the 42 and 62 mile Donut Division only.
Donut Division male and female race winners will claim our Yellow Jersey.
Sprint Division male and female race winners will claim our Green Jersey.
The Team Division winners competing in the 42 mile Donut Division race will each claim a White Jersey. (5 jerseys will be awarded to the winning team) The top three teams will also get one of our custom hand made winners medals for their accomplishment.
The male and female who eat the most donuts in their race regardless of their finishing time will claim a King/Queen of the Donuts jersey. Strategy is a big part of this and to qualify you must finish before 2pm. One of these awesome awards are available for each race distance.
