Each January, Michigan’s endurance sports are celebrated with “The Fly Awards” presentations. When you consider all of the incredible events Michigan has to offer each year, it is an incredible honor to win one Fly Award, let alone FOUR!!!! Thanks to everyone who voted for us, the Dirty Donut was presented with 2024 Fly Awards for Best Gravel Race, Best Race Director, Best Swag/Giveaway, and Best Bling/Awards.

We are very happy to introduce the Longjohn 100 Mile Race as part of the 2025 Dirty Donut Race. Riding 100 miles at a pace over 12.5 mph on gravel is a huge accomplishment. Those that finish the Longjohn 100 mile before 3pm will get a Longjohn 100 finishers medal and a Longjohn 100 finishers jersey. (Jersey will be mailed to each 100 mile finisher after the event)
1st place overall winners are presented with a Blue 100 Mile Champions Jersey and a Free Entry for next years race. 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall receive LARGE Custom Award Medals.
Longjohn 100 mile race rules. Although the course is marked for other distances, the 100 is not marked with signs and is not supported. You can have a support crew assist you at rest stops, but they are not allowed to follow you on the route. If you need help you must get to a donut stop/aid station on your own power. Aero bars and drafting are allowed. You must be 18 years or older to enter this division. You must finish by 3pm to be counted in results, and qualify for a finishers jersey and finishers medal.
