If you eat 12 or more donuts at the Dirty Donut race, you will be forever enshrined in this club and at the same time will be helping Make-A-Wish of Michigan.
The Dirty Dozen Club is named after Taylor Grainger. Taylor passed away in 2007 at age 14 from Cardiac Arrest. Taylor was always collecting McDonalds toys and taking them to local hospitals for the sick kids to play with, putting a smile on their face for the moment, or even the whole day. In the memory of her giving spirit, we have named the club after her.
How does it work? A portion of your race registration and donations from the sponsors listed below, help us donate a minimum of $100 dollars per rider for those that eat a dozen donuts in the race. It will take 30 participants to reach our goal of a $3,000 donation to Make-A-Wish of Michigan.
It is not easy to eat a dozen donuts. It is not for everyone, but for those that do; your name will be listed on our web site for each year that you accomplish this task. Also keep in mind that we are giving away a Donut Eating Champion Jersey for the male and female that eat the most donuts in each of our three race distances as an additional incentive.
